Khustai National Park (Horse Riding in Mongolia) Day 1 At a pre-arranged time you will be met by your driver and guide and driven to the west. The drive will take about 2 hours u ntil you reach Khustai National Park where re-introduction of the wild horses of Przewalski has taken place since 1989. On arrival you will have lunch at the camp. There is an interesting information center where you will be supplied with all necessary facts and data. The afternoon will be spent at leisure hiking in the surrounding mountains with an evening visit to the wild horses while they come to drink in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.
Day 2 Full day of hike along a prepared route accompanied by your guide. Plenty of wild life to see: vultures, deer, marmots and of course Przewalski horses. Lunch you will have at Khoshoot Mt, and descend into the North Blackberry for dinner and overnight. You will be accommodated in charming wooden huts.
Day 3 This morning you will saddle horses and ride towards the ancient, so-called Turkic graves after a nomadic state which existed on the territory of Mongolia during 6-9 centuries. On the way we visit a nomadic herders family and learn of their lifeways. Your guide and a horse guide to look after you will accompany you. Arriving to the graves a bit of history and a packed lunch. Then continue to a beautiful island on the Tuul river and spend your last night in a tent.
Day 4 After breakfast we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar. The drive will take two and a half hours, on arrival you will be taken to your hotel.
